Common questions

Can I switch plans anytime?

Yes — upgrade and it activates immediately (we prorate). Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle so you keep your benefits until then.

Are tutor session fees separate from the subscription?

Yes. Tutors set their own hourly rate. Your plan controls how many sessions you can book per month; each session is priced by the tutor. The platform commission (and any cross-border FX charge) is deducted from the tutor's payment — never added to your cost.

What currencies can I pay in?

You're always shown and charged in your own currency (set it in Settings). We support GBP, USD, EUR, NGN, GHS, KES, ZAR, INR and more. For cross-border bookings we convert at the live mid-market rate, locked when you book.

Are group study sessions and the live AI coach included?

Both are part of Pro and Elite. Group study lets several students share one tutor (splitting the fee or one person paying); the live AI coach gives real-time, CLP-personalised nudges during a session.

Does the free trial need a card?

No card for the Free plan. For Pro/Elite trials we take a payment method but don't charge until the 7-day trial ends — with a reminder email first.

How does the Elite score guarantee work?

Elite students who complete at least 3 tutor sessions/month and actively use the platform for 3 months are eligible. If your verified exam score doesn't improve by the agreed target, we refund one month's subscription.
